Entry 53: Rough River Dam State Resort Park: Kentucky's Scenic Playground

During my time living just south of Lexington, I set out to visit as many Kentucky state parks as I could. While I didn’t get to see them all (Kentucky is a long state, after all), one place I’m especially glad I made it to was Rough River Dam State Resort Park . The creation of the park stems from the 1959 construction of Rough River Dam by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
