While we were down by the river in Little Rock , we got to meander through the "Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet" public art exhibition—an inspiring and visually stunning display of over 20 artist-designed globes . Each globe shared a unique, creative solution for tackling climate change, reminding us that we all play a role in shaping a more sustainable world. Set against the backdrop of the Clinton Presidential Park lawn , the exhibition added an extra layer of beauty and purpose to an already scenic stroll. The diversity of styles and messages captured the urgency and hope that define today’s environmental movement. Entry 66: Wandering Into Little Rock: Bill Clark Wetlands & A Brush with Nature

We got a wild hair the other day and wandered into the big city! Our first stop was the William E. “Bill” Clark Presidential Park Wetlands —a hidden gem tucked along the banks of the Arkansas River , right next to the Clinton Presidential Library in downtown Little Rock . This 13-acre restoration project is more than a scenic stroll—it’s a dynamic urban habitat teeming with life. Birds, turtles, frogs, native plants—you name it. Whether you’re a local or just exploring the capital city, this peaceful pocket of nature offers an unexpected escape amid the skyline.
